MTEL Communications s.r.o. (Co.Ltd.) was founded in 1995 and provides a full service set of solutions for the construction of fiber optic networks. Services range from the provisioning of network components, construction & installation as well as maintenance and network upgrades. MTEL's scope of work services the entire network construction process, including optical cables, HDPE ducts and both passive and active optical components supply in addition to fiber optic links.

To better service customers in Slovakia, an independent company - MTEL s.r.o. (Co.Ltd.) - was established in Košice in 1997.

MTEL Communications s.r.o. (Co.Ltd.) and Kudal Telecom & Electronics Industries are desirous of jointly participating in India for projects involving installation and maintenance of optical fiber telecom networks and other relevant systems. The Joint Venture Agreement has been signed on 15th January 2003 in New Delhi. The Joint Venture Company is registered with Registar of Companies in New Delhi under the name MTEL-KTEI TELEINFRA COMPANY INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED.
